Abstract:
The goal of this project is to create a safe working environment for maintenance personnel working on big and complex industrial machines. Shutting down such a machine is more complex than turning of a PC and needs more than 100 working and security steps. To ensure safety for the Maintenance personal it’s important that all of this steps were performed before maintaining the machine.
The usage of mobile pocket PCs will guarantee actual and correct information at any location. The coordination of maintenance personal by the control centre is simplified and switching operations can only take place in correct order. Additional every action is documented by the system.
